Julian Cope's from Wales, but don't know about the rest of the band.

Yes true enough, and I've learnt something there. The band however was formed in Liverpool (alongside Echo & the Bunnymen and Wah! Heat), but as they probably all went to Rhyl and Prestatyn on Bank Holidays I'm sure they can all squeeze into this category.
