Given up on Sealskinz. Once the water gets through the leg hole, that's it you're in wet socks for the rest of the day.Sealskinz.
I have sealskinz gloves, which are okay for a while, but when they start getting wet they hold water like a sponge, so I wouldn't be entirely convinced by shoecovers.Sealskinz.
They work best with rainpants overlapping the top of the socks.Given up on Sealskinz. Once the water gets through the leg hole, that's it you're in wet socks for the rest of the day.
I agree.....That's one step short of a full on rain capeSorry I don't think I'd ever be able to cope with rain pants while cycling.
None are so wet as those who will not listen.I agree.....That's one step short of a full on rain cape![]()
Overshoes seem like snake oil - they've a damn great hole in the top for your leg, so how can they stop rain running in?
Cheaper to wear some thermal socks that are still warm even when wet? (I think some merino blends and heatholders both do, to some degree.)They can't. But they will stop your feet from getting cold, which is the important thing.
