Everytime I go out cycling my toes are frozen! I wear thermal socks and two more normal thin pairs on top! I don't have any covers on my shoes though, does this help? I must have poor circulation but my hands are always pretty toastie but I bought some decent cycle gloves which I love because they fit well enough without ruining the feel of the bike!

Overshoes will help, or winter cycling boots.

I'm a total noob when it comes to bikes... let's face it I just get on it and ride, trying to learn as I go along. Are overshoes the dark Lycra type covers?

I use Endura neoprene overshoes, feet are normally toasty, and relatively dry in this weather:thumbsup:

I would have to agree with Doodah, as I do too.

I read somewhere about a bloke putting those chemical hand warmer pouches in his shoes when he went out on the bike in winter.

Properly looking out for those now in aldi.

+1 Neoprene overshoes. I have the Pro Tarmac NPU and they keep my feet nice and warm.
What is also important though is not to pull your socks on too tight on your toes, leave them slightly loose, I've found this keeps your toes a bit warmer.
