to the right turn at the lights by the chip shop

Jennys Fish and Chips!

Watch the road at that junction, it's like a moonscape that's been fixed by filling the holes in with more moonscape.

I'd offer to guide you Postman, but I'll be on my way back from Manchester...

If you happen to come across a big yellow tricycle or a little yellow electric truck carrying recycling, give them a wave, they're my workmates....

(Unless it's the trike belonging to the couriers, then they are just mates...)

Also watch out for the sequence of the lights. IIRC there is a point where Mr Aggressive is invited to stomp on the pedals to turn right, only to discover that the opposing straight on lane is still, well, coming straight on. I'm not sure what I did, because I never knowingly go through red lights, but I do remember my bottom going half-a-crown-threepenny-bit as I hauled on the dual pivots.

It is a prime junction for people going over on very warm amber, or red, and wondering why the cross traffic is heading straight for them, because it goes green virtually as the other goes red. Still, since they made Walmgate Bar single lane alternate traffic, you're less likely to have to deal with a bus wedged in the city wall.

I use that junction every day at work, so can virtually predict the lights to the second...

Puddles

Do I need to get the spray plaster out?
