I’ve got a 2 year old Puma still under warranty, two faults have developed, the first I’m not overly concerned about although it needs sorting is that the little red SOS light to call emergency services comes on periodically, the second which seems to have developed today is that when I lock the car, it makes a clicking noise every minute or so, it’s been doing it for several hours now.
Took it to the Ford dealer today who couldn’t have been more unhelpful, they can’t look at it until 17th Feb and expect me to live with the clicking for 2 weeks. I asked what would happen if it broke down there reply was to make sure I had breakdown cover.
What course of action can I take, or would you take? I’m tempted to just drop it off tomorrow and call their bluff trouble with that is the are so unhelpful they are likely to just leave it till the 17th, and I need a car.
