OK, it's time for the 'how?' theories...
This is how I'd do it: Loosen off the rear brake to give the cable some slack, whack my wang between the top tube and the brake cable casing (must be enclosed in outer casing, not just the bare brake cable!) and then just use the rear brake lever to adjust pressure on the wang whilst you thrust furiously in and out trying not to wreck your shins on the crankset.
Any other ideas?
