I bottled it and opted against a road bike, Bought a Scott Sub Classic 30, The way I see it, It gives me chance to get used to bigger wheels, smaller tyres and a bigger ratio, Did I do the right thing ?

Do you like it?

There's your answer. Take it you got the 700 hoops yes?

It's rugged, and if you move on to a road bike, peddaling aht 26lbs around will mean you are in for a treat.

They, Scott Subs, were on my list - tasty bikes.....

Good point about the lock too, Apart from the Cannondale Bad boy it was the best looking in the whole shop.

If you enjoy riding it, then it is the right bike for you. Don't let the roadie snobs put you off...
