Was looking for a drop handle gravel, but offered a Carrera Subway 1? Thoughts?

Nothing wrong with a Carrera Subway 1. If it's a bargain and not worn out, get it and thrash round on it for a bit. It will get you about for the summer, when bikes become available again you can swap to a gravel bike if you prefer it.

My MTB was recently in for some major work, so in the meantime I did a couple of fairly long rides (gravel track and minor tarmac roads) on my old Subway and I was absolutely delighted with it, I'd forgotten how nice it was to ride !
