Rick Parfitt has gone on record saying that when they sang that song at Live Aid he thought ''feed the world'' was actually ''feed the Welsh''

For quite a few years I thought that some of the lines were freedom woah oh oh as the diction on some of the lines seemed a bit less clear than they might have been. As some of the other lines are a bit crazy anyway I thought this was just artistic license.

Talking of Queen - in "One Vision" do they actually sing "Fried Chicken" at the end?

Two Trouser related odd lyrics-

Dancing with the Chicken Slacks (Old Drifters number??)

In "Be-Bop-aloola" the line - She's the one with the red blue jeans- I thought they must therefore be purple.

Cmon, Mr Loaf, you're needed in this thread:

"I'm gonna hit the highway like a battering ram
I'm a Cilla Black fan on bike."

Or maybe "On a silver black phantom bike". Think I prefer the first version...

:biggrin::rofl::smile:#
Ill give you 10 guesses which song came on my Ipod as I was reading this thread....and another guess as to what I was singing:laugh::smile::laugh:

Bohemian Rhapsody:

I'm Just A Poor Boy, Nobody Loves Me -

He's Just A Poor Boy From A Poor Family -

Spare Him His Life and his pork sausages

Well that's what I thought it said and I sang along with those words for all I was worth.:biggrin:

And a couple of lines after that, it took me a long time to realise that he wasn't singing "Be still there". Although I plead a sheltered upbringing for not recognising Arabic words.
