We use milton once a week and a normal wash with fairy liquid after each use. Never had a problem yet. Liking the freezer idea though.

Other half likes to scold his out with boiling water, which is fine with a good bidon, but flimsy ones have a habit of going a funny shape.

Freezing does not kill germs, it only slows down or arrests there development. Once it gets warm it's full steam ahead again.

I bin mine about every 18 months no matter how 'clean' they look - it's only £10 for two new ones - better than getting sick!

Won't the metal bisons knock folk out as you through them into pedestrians?

A metal bison!?!?!
That'd weigh several tonnes wouldn't it? You'd flatten pedestrians, never mind knockin' 'em over ^_^ ^_^
