Washing machine paddles?

no I didn't know what they were until last week either, the three paddles in the drum to help turn the clothes

All three of mine snapped of last week, so I bought and fitted three new ones, they lasted just two washes until they all snapped off again, any idea why?

Fitted the correct way round. Not as daft as it first sounds. Not all replacements are designed to fit the same way round as the origional

Yeh hot point, only thing I noticed second time round was a small bit of the steel drum turned up in the middle of where the paddle goes, should this be flat when fitted then turned back up afterwards?

I may have fitted them the wrong way round but odds are one would have been right

Known fault, inadequate design. If you call their customer services and bitch sufficiently they send you new ones for free.

Still don't know why all three went at once and all three new ones lasted two washes? It's bugging not knowing what I did wrong

They tried to tell me if put something heavy in it. Er, 5 works shorts are heavy now...? Got fed up, replaced it with an InDesign with an all metal drum.

Seems like that metal tab is important! And it need to be lifted back up using a special tool, I cannot find a special tool on eBay?? May have to make my own somehow, what a pain!!

I do most the washing but recon the wife put something in their that shouldn't, the second time was not using the metal tab, I pushed it on with this already up!

+1. My Zanussi fridge/freezer is playing up at the age of 3 years, so it will be getting replaced by ..... Bosch.
