Following a mixed-colours washing-machine incident, my brilliant white Endura FS260 race cape now looks like this

I've tried rewashing it with curtain whitener, but to no avail.

Any ideas?

If it has dried then tough, the leaked in dye will have 'set' into the fabric. The only way to rectify the issue would have been soaking it in Vanish whilst it was still damp and even then it might not have come out.

On the subject of washing cycling clothes, and particularly good stain remover to chuck in the wash as the roads are pretty grubby right now and good splash of oily muck on some of my coats ..
