You can get battery powered ones, but you may have a point with the bulk, but to a big chap like you it shouldn't be a problem, that's assuming you are of a large build.

Yes, I wear a watch in bed. The rare occasion I take it off, I usually forget to put it back on in the morning, which means I end up just looking at my wrist, for the following day.

I always used to wear a watch. We went away to Mallorca in 2013 for 2 weeks and I decided I didn't want a watch mark on my arm once I came home.

I don't wear one at all now.

That's why i stopped wearing one. The wedding ring also came off because that left a white mark as well.

I can't wear watches they go wafty on me, digital ones the display goes off after a while and ones with hands run slow and lose time.

My natural magnetism I guess.

How big was your pillow?

Anyhow, watches. I also only wear it when I'm away from home if there isn't a clock in the room that you can see in the dark.
At home the watch goes on the bedside table next to the digital alarm clock that I can see much more easily if I have to know what time it is.
