I always used to wear a watch although not un bed.
Now I only wear one if I'm traveling.

Like my wedding ring and an anniversary ring, feels wrong not to wear one and have done so for most of my life. Only time it comes off is if required to: airport security, putting on a dry suit, going into an operating theatre, etc.

I don't wear one at all now.

I have only ever bought two watches, the first, a Seiko that cost me my first months wages when I joined the Royal Navy, that lasted until a month after I left...just over 25 1⁄2 years, and then I spent a weeks wages on my second watch, a Tissot

And it stays on my wrist, day and night
