Watch out for parked cars - especially on new 1k bike!

So I get home from work and misses has had a half naked cyclist, two police and two paramedics in the house!

She heard a crash outside and looked out and there was a cyclist on the floor, next to a woman that had stopped her car on the phone to the ambulance.

Turns out he'd ridden into a parked car on his new 1k road bike - he's only had it half an hour apparently... whoops..

Misses brought him to keep out the cold and wait for the ambulance and ended up staying for an hour whilst the paramedics cut his clothes off and sorted him out and waited for his girlfriend to sort him out. Our 2 week old slept through the whole thing.

This made me smile and took me back to the 60's...A friend was knocked off his Motorbike (going very slowly) and his girlfriend was on the back. The copper who turned up ask my friend how she was and his answer was about his bike.
