Salty seadog

Space Cadet...(3rd Class...)
Is it thick enough for use on a bike chain?
Sick of my drivetrain getting gunked up with road and trail crap.

Wipe the excess lube off after applying and wipe the chain down after riding.

I would use 'proper' oil. Spraying oil in an aerosol doesn't get it where it needs to be with any assurance and will likely not be 'tacky' enough. Drip, drip, drip on a backwards (!) running chain, and wipe. Fwiw I'm using a litre container of chainsaw oil (about £8 from my lawnmower repair shop), decanted into a 100ml chain oil bottle for post ride/clean/pre-ride use.
