We all know cyclists sometimes run red lights. Ever seen a motorist do it like this?

The driver was being cautious and certainly not rushing through, so I'd go with an emergency still.
Or perhaps the driver just thought that if he ran the red lights slowly, it somehow wouldn't matter (a lot of motorists seem to think that).

Saw a car do similar at a junction without an island. They had stopped behind me for about 5secs but lost patience and did similar to jump the lights, they turned left though and gradually merged into the priority flow. Perhaps they came from a country (like Australia) where thats legal
Only in some states, e.g. Queensland. It's not legal in Victoria.
--> actually, I retract that statement. I just checked, and it is legal in Victoria! In both states, the driver must first stop, and then may turn left, provided there is a "Left turn on red" sign.

Really odd driving. I hope you report that because if it wasn't an emergency/secret services then they need a slap round the wrist.

This is quite normal driving in BD3 and most of Bradford 1, wrong side not only through junctions but wherever cameras are, they are "pool" cars, shared vehicles for the yoof to get around town. It's so bad that I now can't cycle to my unit, you just can't anticipate what might happen..

I agree it looks like a conscious decision to drive that way and is most likely an emmergency.

Can I ask what kind of emergency would justify driving in such a way. Was there a sick looking passenger in the vehicle?

Possibly, but a "pimp my ride" Corsa and a dodgy plate, makes me think otherwise - unless the emergency was an early morning toke...
