Weather Forecasting

Why can they still not get it right, three times this week I have checked the forecast before going out on my bike, three times I have been rained on!

I got up early this morning to do a 40 mile bike ride, I'd checked the weather last night, no rain till the afternoon, I checked again this morning, the same was forecast. 12 miles into my ride the heavens opened, 10 miles later it was still raining, I had no wet weather gear with me so was getting soaked, since I was at the closest point to back home (4 miles) I decided to head for home. I chatted to another cyclist a mile from home he said the same thing, it wasn't due to rain till 1pm.

I got home and it had stopped and it hasn't rained since, grrrrrrrr

I always check raintoday to see what rain is coming shown by the radar images.

I looked at the met office local forecast yesterday as the rain beat against my window, and it showed it was sunny, so I went out in shorts and flip flops. Who am I to argue with professionals?
