I've got the BBC weather app which is run by the Met Office. It talks a load of flannel until the day before then starts getting more accurate.
Based in Blackpool nowI use Windfinder but I happen to be near two of their forecast areas. Depends where you are on the coast.
you definitely find alot of wind here
Travelling from Blackpool, you'll have the wind of the sea until 13:30
Wind / sea breezes have nothing to do with, and are not affected by, high tide. High tide / low tides work on an 11-hour cycle so high tide will be at a different time each day.Ahh I never thought of it like that, I take it high tide ends at 13:30?
We did it on THIS forum ride. It was low tide so there was a big step down to the ferry at Fleetwood and a couple of us almost came a cropper - take care when getting on or off with a bike!I have taken the ferry to knot end before but not when I had my bike with me.

ITS BEAUTIFUL! Thankswww.ventusky.com (thanks to whoever suggested that)...
