Snows not been the problem today on the commute to work it's the wind that's done me!

Something you ate?

Just when you think 'Question about riding in the snow', 'Taking advantage of the crap weather', 'Beaten by the snow' and 'Anyone braving the cold today' are enough new threads about the weather we now have the new 'Weather!' thread.

Channel 5 last night were showing live coverage of the cold weather event ... for TWO HOURS!
I will admit to having some interest in the weather as it affects my 2 main hobbies (cycling and motorbikes) and also my work (caretaker/gardener); but the media in this country have well and truly lost the plot with their weather coverage. Yes, give it enough coverage to make people aware, and tell them not to go out, then if they do go out and get stuck on the motorway -- TOUGH. Don't interview them and make them out to be poor victims of some unexpected weather!

To be fair Channel 5 has spent hours showing much more mundane brain numbing programmes so it was possibly an improvement!

I see Channel 5 as the Daily Mail of the broadcast world.
