Lovely and sunny here today, ned to nip home at lunch to walk the dog. SHould have done it this morning but she had us up a few times during the night with toilet trips so couldn't be bothered at 6am.
A touch of shopping later and some holiday organizing.

Does she not know where the heated seat button is? 🙂

Sent her in the campervan as it needed a run, no remote heating, seats or steering wheel 🙄😂

Afternoon
Dry, chilly and misty here so not a day for cycling outside but I’m not sure I can face the turbo. So I might climb in stead probably need to take it steady as it’s Pilates later.

Thats a shame, I have bought some good stuff from them.

Love the shop, love the vibe and somewhere in the future there's a Sonder Broken Road with my name on it.
However, I have bought and returned a poorly designed tent and a faulty sleeping mat. They were lovely about it though.

Evening folks, been a bit busy so just been peering in a bit. Surprised about Alpkit as alot of there gear is very good and they had some very good ethical practices regarding manufacturing etc. Feel for your Photonic, hopefully nothing to sinister. There'll probably give you statins and something to lower it.

Doc called me in for an appointment today due to my "Buster Bloodvessel" high BP readings

In for ECG 1st thing tomorrow and to submit BP readings for a week. Looks like I might be in @briantrumpet land.

Good luck! I'm still waiting for some idea of op date... the trans-thoracic echocardiogram results were posted yesterday, but I've no idea when the scheduling bit will be actioned. I just want to get it done now... just over a year since it was diagnosed.

Re Alpkit as I have said elsewhere folk on UKClimbing are saying their best stuff was as expensive as the top brands which if look around you can find them somewhere on offer. So would you pay £250 for an Alpkit jacket when you can get a Patagucci one for the same price. Their basic stuff was becoming all cheap Chinese imports.

Some bike stuff is good, clothing wise im ME, Montane, Rab or Patigucci. Personally prefer quality and function over brand.
