Blue skies, favourable winds, yesterday's chores completed (maybe).....It's a bikie day! If I keep heading north, I should stay dry until mid afternoon.

Morning

No blues skies here. Lots of damp overnight. Supposed to brighten up later so that presents a conundrum: wait or go on rollers in case it doesn't relent in time?

Much coffee needed to come to a decision.

It's going to be a slow day for me after yesterday's decent ride (a little more energetic than my wibbly heart would have liked). Actually looking forward to some decent rain before the end of the week. Anyway, off to market shortly to meet some friends and do a bit of shopping in town.

Have chopped off a day or so from my stay to avoid the planned day of strikes here on 10 September. New Easyjet ticket was £80, and the new TGV ticket cheaper than the one I'd booked (a definite advantage of having an over-60s SNCF railcard is that I can get 100% refunds on tickets right up to the minute of departure.) With any luck the original Easyjet flight will be scuppered and I can get a refund.

meh work, too much grief for Wednesday already.

At least one run planned later, unfortunately if they both come off the second one is with a speedy youth

Morning Peeps,

Been tanking down here which was welcome as the lawn was starting to look like the Serengeti. But sun is out now and I've finished my calls for the morning. Think I'll have another coffee.
