There is a 5-letter word beginning with "b" to describe the outdoors today but "balmy" ain't it...

Dodged a bit of it to catch up with old mate for brrrrrr-unch and coffees. Now choosing between bludging in front of a screen this arvo or getting on the turbo for some lazy miles. Been told to take it easy today thanks to a visit with the butcher skin clinic surgeon yesterday to remove a few blemishes from the leathery old canvas masquerading as my skin. More scars incoming. Humph.

Morning, good sleep after after a short blast on the bike after work yesterday.

Going to be a hot one here in deepest darkest Kentshire, I was debating whether it was worth headed into the office to enjoy the air con, but will be in tomorrow for some leaving drinks so have decided to tough it out at home. The holiday season in Europe is in full swing and the boss is on holiday so things are starting to quieten down a bit, which is nice.

Heating up here, unfortunately opening the cave door and windows wasn't a great move as one of the neighbours must be using industrial amounts of manure on their garden judging by the small outside. At least our drains aren't blocked.

Edit: turns out it's the local farm as Mrs. 666 could smell it coming down the road in the car a fair way off from the house.

Afternoon
Out early as Wednesday ride was started earlier due forecast heat. Did get quite warm at times but as we headed up to moors it was manageable. So 63 lumpy miles done and later is the pub for tea.
