Slow morning after yesterday's endoscopial excitement. Woke before I'd have chosen to, but got load of washing out & drying in the sun. Probably just a wander around the block before salad lunch, then will decide whether to extend my ride into town a bit before afternoon lessons.

Good sleep after yesterday's communt iron the bike and some grape based recovery drink afterwards (one of my 5 a day).

In a good mood today as the boss called with news of bonuses which were half decent, so must resist the temptation to go shopping. And must resist telling Mrs. 666 in case she does it for me. Anyhow, onwards to coffee amd tax mitigation...

Afternoon, I really hope the forecast is true and this is the final mini heatwave day in Southampton, the next 9+ days are supposed to be 19-22C compared to last two days of approx 26C. The small drop will make a huge difference to me.

I deal with the heat far worse in recent years when I've been 90-96Kg, back in the prolonged summer '18 heatwave I'd still go out riding for several hours when it was approx 32C and my body would cope far better when I was more like 78-80Kg.

Afternoon all. Work worked and now settling down to a nice coffee and sort the tea out for the family before I go running. Have come up with a route from home to try new bikepacking rig out in next wk or so. Hopefully it will be a tad cooler, loving the ride into work but the slog home in the sun isn't so nice.

I prefere riding in the heat as I tend to run cold, on a summers evening I can still wear a thin jacket.

Home again after more glasshouse propagation work, did get quite warm. Choc ice consumed, now waiting for some random to come and collect a thing put on freecycle, after sitting unused in a shed corner for past n years.

Local branch of the big Coop has lots of empty shelves, guess those ersehole cyber warriors causing problems. Got all my stuff though.
