Dark crisp and dry up here. Pretty much as good as you can hope for an this juncture.

A day trying not to speak out against incompetency approaches.

Stopped raining last night but still a bit damp so spray on the motorway etc. Headed into town where I have an audience with the big boss (Global CFO) who is visiting, should be fun.

WFH again, major traffic issues in the village. We're one road in, one road out and UU have decided to dig up one of the major junctions. It took my son 1hr45m to get to work 3.5 miles away this morning.

I have the luxury of doing stuff (like posting drivvle) from the kitchen.

Couldn't he cycle there? And if he needs his vehicle, leave it at work.

Bright & chilly in tropical Devon. Expecting a 'pre assessment' phone call from the Royal Brompton today regarding the heart plumbing repair, so will be hoping to have a better idea of timescales... would be quite handy if it were after Christmas now.

Meanwhile, while I wait for the call: ☕
