WTF is this time of day? 4.30 should only appear once.
As today it seemed to have an early start we did too, wide awake so sat working in the kitchen to make use of the time. Get an hour of stuff done before the gym before work before no doubt crashing into bed early due to said stupid start time.
No site meetings today so a day in the office, may purchase some fishing bits for next weekends outing.

Mrs Wakemalcolm is poorly so there'll be a bit of running around and some post Christmas/post holiday life admin to attend to; hopefully make use of the weather later on.

It's a bit black out there.
TT hasn't turned up so i'll have to chase whoever delivery peepal.
Some's are good, some's are okay some's are real bad.

Time to get back into Devon routine. At least it's not as cold.

The morning's moral maze: the train dispatcher at Exeter St David's forgot to hold our train for a couple of minutes, so four of us missed our connecting train (the one from London was 6 minutes late). He was full of apologies, and got two taxis for the four of us. But, according to Trainline, we simply arrived 33 minutes late, and so are due a 50% refund. "Please apply via the app." I was late, but not by 33 minutes (and had the nicest taxi driver ever).

Anyway while I ponder, coffee from the Magnifica S: one of the attractions of returning to Devon, I'll admit.

Morning. Super freezy-cold here and required an SDS drill to remove ice from windscreen today!

Suffering enough Time-Slip to cause a major rift in the temporal reality. Nothing that can't be fixed with copious amounts of Coffee!!

Gone chilly again here, there was still frost on the cars just now, although the sun hasn't been anywhere near them yet. Working from the cave keeping busy. One positive note, the boss has offered an all expenses paid birthday dinner next month and I can bring along a chosen few. Best start googling Michelin starred venues.

Another frosty one here, so no Wednesday ride. Had haircut and beard trim courtesy of Mrs W followed by a walk with Bertie with more work on his recall. Later is Palates which I suspect will have more failed attempts at standing on one leg while waving the other one about.
