Did a weeks tour from Glasgow to Inverness, via Arran, Oban etc. Amazing week of good weather, scenery and pretty cruisy cycling, apart from the odd hill here and there and the Loch Awe road.

Amazing week of good weather

I am sooooo jealous! I'm booked on a weekend double of audaxes from Ballater. 4 days in all (sleeper to/from Aberdeen), and the current forecast is "Tropical Thuderstorm" . This is my 2nd autumn trip North of the border - the previous one was longer, and featured a named storm!
I shouldn't moan - when I've been earlier in the year I've been really lucky*. If I see any blue sky like yours, I'll try to post a photo. More likely is 4 days worth of distillery interiors ...

*Including a trip much like your route

Any multi day trip in Scotland without rain is a lucky one!

It is a really nice, quiet and scenic road but with a lot of short ups and downs (some quite steep), so maybe not fun if you dislike hills! Nice cafe about halfway along at Dalavich.

Agree with all of this, especially the repeated short hills (hated them). But the sweeping descent on the other side and the section from Taynuilt to Oban, were spectacular.
