Smell it often around here and it's not uncommon to pass people openly smoking while walking through the city centre.

Sorry Vern, your post showed twice on the iPad so I tried to clean up the posts, and it deleted your post. It was quoted next though. Sorry. Mod slap on the wrist...... Flipping iPads... Good job work paid for this.

I was getting a bit high due to the car in front of me the other day (I was on the motorbike) and had a police car behind me.

never been so worried about my riding!

I've usually get at least one good whiff per ride around Greater Manchester and Lancashire, and I've always found it astonishing TBH.

The fact it smells so strong when a car just passes makes me think just how much of this $hit are they actually smoking?

I have never once smelled it when out cycling.

An ind unit on my estate was a "factory" though, everybody's units used to stink as the smell wafted through the roof voids. It was a daft place to have one because another unit was a very popular hydroponics wholesaler and constantly under surveillance...........

I smirk every time I encounter hydroponics shops. I wonder what percentage of sales are non drug related systems. I have some grow lamps from my abortive attempts to grow exhibition onions and was dealt a crushing blow to my pride when a fellow allotmenteer, on seeing my four pound specimens said, "If I was you I'd pickle those"

I smell tobacco more often, and find that a much more obnoxious odour.

I have no problem with people taking drugs in private (that includes bulk ethanol and the incomplete combustion products of tobacco leaves), but I object when the rest of us have to put up with the smells and antisocial behaviour, and when the consumers drive cars afterwards.

Yes, I do enjoy a trip to the pub and a pint, but I don't drive afterwards and don't get disorderly.
