It wasnt reasoned or logical it was a statement.....should I change the word "wrong" for illegal?

if it comforts you to hide within the drab moral majority then go for it.

it certainly wasnt much of a statement, though. a statement of your opinion perhaps... though in the absence of the words "in my opinion" it could just as easily be a string of random keys typed by a brain-free marmot.

Agreed, I've got (well had really) friends who are exactly the same in everyway as when we were in our early twenties ...

and the problem with that, exactly? its a shame more people dont hang onto their youthful outlook, instead of becoming jaded, moralising buffoons who think their own personal circumstance equals the only correct course of behaviour for everyone else.

Dear lord, not sure what cage I've rattled here, my posts are posts, not definitive statements finalised for eternity. Other folk are welcome to do what they wish with their lives, judging someone else's perceived success or failure based on ones own moral compass is as pertinent to the turning of this planet as a snowflake's affect on lava flow. You'll find little moral outrage here.

I actually think skunk smells really nice, but what it does to your head when overused isn't quite so nice ...

I'm looking after myself and living clean until the 'end game' when there will be a major rules change! I do not intend to fizzle out over a period of years on major prescription drugs like my parents. I'll go a bit wild and try all the things that I have avoided up to then because they were bad for me. If I'm dying aged (say) 85, I'm going to go on one long party and die with a confused smile on my face! (If that knocks 6 months off the suffering, that would be fine by me.)

As for young drugs casualties - yes, I've met a few of them in my time, but I've seen many more lives wrecked by alcohol, tobacco smoking or even lack of exercise.

If I'm in the majority then I'm drab.....ok, I'll take that!

I'm sure what I wrote didnt cover what you(generalising here) do within your own walls, just when driving, around kids and my family(kids/wife and me).

I'm sure I dont need to expand on every sentance so it reads totally correct for grammar or are you choosing to pick holes out of it for no reason??
I though the statement read as though it was my opinion?

Long term users are some of the nastiest and most aggressive of my customers.
Even the ones who don't drink booze or do other drugs as well? The combination can be pretty nasty, but the few people I've known who only smoked weed were pretty docile.

Yes I can, Yes I am, Yes I did...Repeat.
Alcohol and cigarettes are bad drugs as well indeed...I dont do any of them period ever...I saw someone drink herself crazy..every night...bottle and a half wine...schnapps...and it all added up to a bloody mess..

...whatever the excuses...surely finding solice in addictive substances isn't helpful,
Ride a bike instead...my life changed totally when I realized that.

At 51 I my gp.says my cardio system is that of a 25 year old..I can ride across a continent...while my friend of 30 years can hardly move..except to skin up.
Why????????

Long term use tends to make folk anything but docile.

I think tobacco is nasty stuff and the pedlars of death that sell it are sub human, but as it stands tobacco is legal and weed isn't. What kind of psychological inadequacy makes people turn to chemicals for pleasure?

Fair enough, I bow to your much greater experience. That said I suspect it is far fewer than some of the herberts in city centres like Nottingham or Romford on a Friday night getting into fights in the taxi queue etc. But as I say I take your word on this and like the man in the orphapedic boot I stand corrected.
