After commuting during the week, what are the essential things to do at the weekend to replenish bike and body?
Going to clean my bike, maybe spray some WD40 on chain? Any recommendations?
A guy I work with suggested a recovery ride of a mile or two to flush out toxins? Personally I'd only been planning on sitting on soft cushions and drinking tea!
What should the hardened commuter do to rest and refuel over the weekend?
Keep the bike clean during the week, couple of wet wipes and it's always sparkling and ready to go. Not sure about recovery rides, I always seem to have a little bit extra at the weekend so tend to go out first thing for longer faster rides.
