There is a margin of error built in, usually a fairly substantial one, but you are not exactly just a few kg over, you are 25g heavier than the recommended weight. A snapped carbon seatpost up your arse is the last thing you want!

When I bought my Tricross Comp in 2010 it came with a carbon seat post with a zertz thingy in it. That had a little instruction leaflet with a weight limit, as did the wheels, stem and bars I think, of around 100kg I think.

Needless to say I didn't fancy a sliver of carbon tearing me a new one so a 15quid cheapo alloy thing was fitted before the first ride. Oh yeah was about 125kg at the time.

I bought a Whyte Stirling last year and that's got a 100kg limit,
