I met a guy who did the LEJOG last September just after his 80th birthday in ten days in terrible weather, hats off to him big time.

If you spend all your life doing sports, like Cycling, Caving, Mountaineering, Backpacking and such like, one does not realise you have got old and if you don,t have in health problems you think you can go on for every. I belong to the 40 + cycling club, average age would be at a guess about 72yo.
