Well I am only going on what the surgeon told me 15 years ago, at that time with my arthritis I would have to have been 18 stone.
I'll work on getting arthritis then

I would LOVE to be without a car! Every journey by bike is a small victory.I would hate to be without a car.
My last two cars have both been ex-Motability cars - I had a contact in the trade. Low mileage, but they both stank of smoker.I expect you know but there are so the trade tells me 750,000 Motability cars on our roads. Personally I would rather be fit and pay for our cars.

The last one has just failed on me after nine good years and I'm wondering whether I need to replace it, since I no longer have a job to go to and only do about 4000 essential miles a year. There is a GeeWhizz station just round the corner.
I completely agree. The depressing thing about Motability users is that a large proportion have spent decades eating and smoking themselves into that condition. I occasionally think "Why should I spend my taxes looking after them when they can't be arsed to look after themselves?"... However as I said earlier I would much rather be fit and pay for my own.
