Apparently there are major issues with privacy in Windows 10, among them those related to wifi passwords. Here's some fixes. bit.ly/1P4m2t2

The password thing is on by default but you have to explicitly say you want a network's password to be shared. It's worth turning off but not the problem the media tells us it is.

I really do not want my wifi passkey on a Windows server, once it's there, or on another machine, it isn't secure.

Turn the feature off or don't activate a network with it. I turned it off.

There are some horrible privacy features in Windows 10, like the WiFi password thing, but we have control over it. I think the tech media have gone overboard with all the "Oh noses! The sky is falling!!!11!!!eleven!!!" stories. A lot of these articles are just clickbait.
