Started young, and still going.

Barnet,
Never rode one, never wanted one. I thought they looked silly at the time and still do.

Mine below, still ride it but it does have brakes now and I've lowered the seatpost a couple of inches :-) Frame by Sirius in 531c, and that's a 24 inch front wheel on a Hope hub. I've taken the inner ring off the chainset too as it is meant to run as a 7 speed. Now fitted with an early Zipp carbon rear wheel and I've got extensions with risers to reduce the pain in my back to a level where it is now only mere agony after 10 miles. Mind you, I'm so crap at time trials my back is probably the bit that's hurting the least by the time I've finished and I've usually been overtaken by anyone who started within 10 minutes of me so I have the mental agony to cope with too. Similar to one ridden by Martin Pyne in the 80s, I always wanted one but in all honesty it's a nightmare of a machine to ride even though it raises a few eyebrows when I turn up at the local time trials on it.

With antlers like that, in my neck of the woods you would stand a high risk of being shot at.

Now that is weird, and weirdly long. Probably fast in a straight line but I wouldn't want to corner on it.
