Chatting to my welsh friend last night, he mentioned there is a welsh language version of wordle:
https://cyrdle.web.app/

When googling for it, I was embarassed to realise that wordle was welsh in origin all along, and I hadn't realised:
https://nation.cymru/culture/welsh-...game-due-to-deeply-unpleasant-rip-off-copies/
And I didn't knw the creator was a mr WARDLE 🤦‍♀️

"Josh Wardle grew up in Llanddewi Rhydderch"
and I'd like to point out that is a perfectly normal number of double-d s to have in one place name.

It's quite a nice little story - could have been an Ealing Comedy back in the day.

Well, write it down boy ......
Interesting thankyou. I tried the Welsh version you linked and got it in three! (I'm doing Welsh on duolingo, it wasn't a wild guess either). Mind you, SPOILER ALERT (but I doubt many will be trying it) the only words I could originally think of were that well known political party.
What I hadn't realised is that there's no Q, Z, X, V or K in Welsh.
And I've been through Llanddewi Rhydderch twice!
