Looking to join a cycling club, just to boost fitness for coming Hockey season!

Anyone point me in the right direction?

You sound sporty, so you probably want to try the local racing club, Welwyn Wheelers. They have weekly rides at 09:15 on Sundays, and they race and train on weekday evenings at the Welwyn velodrome at Gosling Sports Park.

If that doesn't suit you, then you can choose between South Hertfordshire CTC (who have rides starting at St Albans, Hatfield, and Hertford) and Stevenage CTC.

I'm with CTC Cambridge but I see the Welwyn Wheelers from time to time when their Sunday ride and ours are in the same part of the countryside. Nice green-and-white jerseys!

They seem like a decent bunch - am looking to join them on their Weds rides.

Looking to do 20-30 miles this Sat - holding out for the weather though!

Been for a few 13-15 mile blitz sessions around WGC the last week or so in the evening.

Anyone game for joining me for another Monday/Tuesday night? 6pm?
I average about 15mph and takes just under an hour with top speeds of 35mph down Knightsfield.
