Ah! Excellent! One thing we British have is the ability not to take ourselves too seriously.
We run a limited service on some of their track and I'm frankly dubious about some of their claims. Pengy's been injured more than once by a collapsing bridge and the brakes are rubbish.
How often do you have a derailment?

Are they on the right track?......it's a bit of a tender point. I think this country is in the Vanguard of railway development but no need to get steamed up about it........just a few puns to get you going @wol

Oh and can I be the Fat Controller?

Can I be the fatter controller?

Puns? I hope diesel do for you:

This thread is not a platform for railing against a flawed bidding process.

See what I did there?

The government is sending out the wrong signals, they need to look near to home and the signals should be clear. No need to keep shunting this problem into the sidings as thry need to work to a timetable to solve the issue of being railroaded by the franchise companies.

It is Virgin on the ridiculous that the First Choice was a complete truck up.

Just to shunt this discussion down a slight siding; in my batchelor years I lived in a cottage next to the East Lancashire Railway and one weekend the guest locomotive was the superb blue streamlined Mallard class loco. My neighbour Rita saw it chuff past and exclaimed "Eeeh! Did yer see that? It were that bluddy Nigel Dempster!"
