There was an East Lothian, a Midlothian and a West Lothian, but not a North or South Lothian when I was taught geography, but things change.

East Lothian - Yes I cycled round it on Sunday - cracking ride

North - No

South - No

There is a Midlothian which I think is roughly Edinburgh

West Lothian - I think of Livingston

Being a West coaster means that my East coast Geography is maybe not spot on though

there's a nice little café in the middle of linlithgow, just in a little square off the main street. can't remember the name, but the cakes were good.
