Finish Line Wet Lube and the Mickle method for the last 18 years. Never had a problem or cause to doubt it.

Googled Mickle method. Didn't realise it had a name. It's what I've been doing since 1974.

I don't think mickle claims to have invented it, but AIUI he wrote a blog about it which has been quoted so often round these parts that it has become known as The Mickle Method.

In any case, it's as solid and reliable a method of chain maintenance as any, whatever you call it. And the key point is that you end up with excess lube removed from the outside of the chain, where it is not needed.

Cheap enough to reapply as required
Cleansing & penetrative

All I do is wipe it over with a 'diesel dampened' cloth & run the chain through it


Chain-rings/cassette/jockey wheels are cleaned weekly
