Wet one

I got a good soaking on the way home this morning, heavy rain and sleet, but unusually the great motoring public were very well behaved around me.

It looks as if it's dried up a bit while I've been dossing about, so should be ok for the repeat tonight.

Wet and cold this morning going to work, it tried to snow at one point but never came to anything. So glad i got the commuter all finished before the rain this week. Fully kitted out with winter gear so when i arrived at work, everything nice an dry

I'm ashamed to say i woke up, got dressed for cycle commuting, then looked out side and saw it was peeing down, pitch black and freezing with a bit of sleet in the air.

Then i went back upstairs, had a shower, got changed and drove to work.

Bad me!

Felt guilty until i got to the canteen for breakfast! Don't normally cycle on a wednesday but will do tomorrow as forecast is better.

Don't really mind the rain.
If you go out with the attitude that 'it's only rain and you are going to get wet anyway' then a ride is just as enjoyable.

Been a great week so far, makes such a difference without much wind, had almost forgotten how nice it is to ride!

Was quite surprised on leaving work at 6am, had to remove a layer and my glove liners
It even stayed dry too
