Mine is self explanatory if you follow the racing. Not that I race any more, those days are long gone

My surname is a common one beginning with T and their are hundreds of them anywhere so I jumped to 1000....I also had a Harley or two at the time.

I need a new name!

Signed up years ago and I was predominantly cycling to work and doing so in Central Scotland, I went with CentralCommuter. It’s just not catchy!

The best ones (in my opinion) seem to be mononyms and highly evocative - for example, Drago:

From Google: "Drago" is a word and name with multiple meanings, including "dragon" in Italian and Slavic languages, translating to the mythical beast, but also meaning "precious" or "dear" in Slavic languages. In English, "Drago" can derive from the word for a "male duck" or refer to a "dragon" through Old English roots. It can also refer to a Mexican tree or be a character name, like the formidable Russian boxer Ivan Drago from the Rocky film series.”

I mean, his name might actually be Drago and he’s landed very lucky, but if it is a chosen moniker it is inspired!

How did you all come up with your name?

Drago actually got his name by reverse engineering the ancient Slavic word "Ogard", that meant village Eunuch.

Mine is from my first post on here about not drilling out a rear brake bridge but fitting a front caliper on the rear and securing it with a nylock nut.

I may own several Raleigh bikes too though.

The old C+ forum was the first internet forum that I ever discovered, and at the time I was on my work laptop so just used my work login ID to join and kept it ever since.

I've joined a few other forums with the same name so can be followed around via that, I know there's someone on here who's seen me on Weetrees bonsai forum, although I've used a different name on pornhub so you can't find me there. 😂
