What a beautiful day

Yep a beautiful day. Managed to head west out of London to Windsor and beyond for 32 satisfying miles. This afternoon has been relaxing in the garden and planting some ever green shrubs.

Quality deviousness was had tho. - draw luxurious bubble bath, close blinds, light candle and invite Mrs Pie to take a load of......while I bugger off for a fly drizzly hour on No1 velo

Haven't been on the bike for about 2 weeks but the weather had my fiancee, my 2 girls and I taking the doggies for a walk up the south side of Winter Hill. We weren't out long because there were literally thousands of flying ants crawling all over us every step of the way. Horrible wee bas***d's they are.

I've spent the last couple of days in pain after cutting the hedge, just did too much standing up (with my bad leg) so I've been paying the price since.
Mind you it has been nice sitting in the garden using 3 different forms of pain relief (Tablet, Herbal and Liquid)

just averted sunburn

I wore a top with cap sleeves, a little shorter than my normal jersey. Spot of sunburn at the top of both arms

Yesterday was a pootle with my lad along kingswinford raiway trail and return via staffs and worcester canal towpath. Quite lovely scenery considering close proximity to a city the size of Wolverhampton.

Started by an Australian so although I know many old British comedians ("And it's goodnight from him"), Ken Dodd is beyond my ... um... ken.

We've seen Ken dodd live, he's very good, show started a 7:30pm, we got the interval at 10:15 and the show finished at 12:30am, and he stayed on stage chatting to people for at least an hour afterwards.
