what a difference a week makes.....

Last week - 3/4s, l/sleeve jersey (s/sleeve going home), trainer socks, long finger gloves (mitts going home), no wind and that thing called 'sun'
Today - 3/4s with leg warmers, s/sleeve jersey, fleece, coat, winter gloves, shoe covers, gusting wind and bloody SNOW!!!

And to top it all, going home in the cold and rain last night, I slipped when trying to clip in and caught my ankle bone right on the pedal, ouch! It brought tears to my eyes.

Last week was delicious - shorts, tops without sleeves, and sandals, no gloves at all for the homeward journeys. And then this one ... don't even want to go outside..... I want to go back to last week. I'm just hoping that wasn't summer!

Just defrosting. Full wet gear this morning. Had a chat with a guy at traffic lights - he didn't look happy, oh and the hawthorns have been trimmed on Manchester Road (for the locals) - debris everywhere. ppssssssttttt

After commuting right through the winter, at all times of night and day, I have to admit that the return to winter conditions was a bit of a shock to the system.

Sounds like it shouldn't last too long though.
