Anyone else gone to fix a broken chain with a quick link, only to not secure the chain properly and the derailleur tension flinging one half off into the bushes? Good times!
I carried two spare inner tubes around for several thousand miles only to realise the valve stem was too short to go through the rim when I finally needed one.

Did that with the other halfs bike, was lucky the day she got the puncture we were on a club ride, one of the other guys had the right size one, i do carry a puncture repair kit so it would not really have been a problem, but we all do silly things.
