Well - maybe not that bad. No-one knocked me off but ...
I left this am bright and early (for me) and toddled off to Forth Road Bridge - got to the left hand cycle route and it's shut. Arggghhh.
I cycle back to go under the underpass but I meet a fellow cyclist who tels me you can do a carry under the bridge down and up some steps.
So I cycle back to the bridge - carry the bike - and almost have a heart attack - i have never done cyclo-cross and I wil not be starting.
I then start to get going and start to get into my stride and make up a bit of lost time all is going well until I notice a shimmy like i have a p*ncture.
I check the tyres - both are fine. I carry on and shimmy gets worse.
I get off and have another look and virtually every spoke on the back wheel is really loose on what is a wheel that cost me 80 quid and has only done 100 miles.
Two questions - 1. How does this happen to a wheel? and 2. When do I tell LBS I will never darken their door again?
Apart from that the sun is shining and i will stop being miserable as soon as i decide what to do with this errant wheel.
