I'm regularly mistaken for Prince Charles on the phone.

RP with some estuary vowels and glottal stops and a sprinkling of west country. It gets more RP when I'm on the phone.

Having said im a broad geordie. I thought I might let you in on the nicest accent i have come across.
She was a mates wife back in army days. She was from Omargh in NI and I just loved her voice. She was very attractive too (of course) only thing was her name, Doris not particularly sexy!

I speak a mix of North Wolverhampton living cross the border in South Staffs but thanks to my move to Dudley I seem to be picking the lingo up  all though my daughter who lives in Northern Ireland, with in a day of her landing, her NI accent is gone replaced by Dudley spake when she spends her hols with me, all ways been the same.

You've neatly summarised my accent - though I add a bit of Mancunian and west yorks into the mix as well.

Interesting: "RP is often believed to be based on Southern accents, but in fact it has most in common with the dialects of the south-east Midlands: Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Huntingdonshire."

Not entirely sure about their grasp of geography there though...
