What are the odds on this?

Some people are just born unlucky.

The heading made me look twice though:

'Mom: Jogger hit by plane was excited to head home.'

At first glance it had a ring of 'his head was on it's way home'

Thats terrible, what will happen to the pilot? Surely he could have landed in the water instead of the beach?
