David Graeber's Debt: The First 5,000 Years – coincidentally the average amount of time it would now take to pay off a mortgage for a house in London.
I finished, the ending in the movie is not as same as the book, there is no ending actually, which made me realise how amazing and horrific the ending in the movie wasThe other night I watched a film called the conjuring. A horror film that had mevery nearly err mmm swearing. Shortly after that Nihal and andyrm recommended tnat I read stephen kings the mist, so thats what I am doing now.
I understand there may be a sting in the tail so @Nihal and @AndyRM if i have the bejeezus scared out of me because of you two there will be trouble gentlemen.
I read Cloud Atlas twice and didn't understand what the hell was going on so I won't be watching the film
I haven't read the book yet (it's on my list) but I loved the film, all 3 hours of it!
Three hours![]()
Yes but it didn't feel that long I was that engrossed. The Kindle edition of the book is only £3.66 so I bought it.![]()
I admire your concentration
Dead And Buried by Stephen Boothe. All his crime novels based on Derbyshire .Just finished Empty Cradles (about child migration), thought it was ok but probably a bit too long and I think I only finished it for the sake of it. Interesting subject though. Now I'm away to start 12 Years a Slave after giving Skagboys (Irvine Welsh) about 20 pages before deciding it's gash. Which is a shame because I used to quite like his stuff.
What's everyone else reading at the moment? Reviews please!
Is it [Sleepwalkers] good?
