I may go into hibernation for the winter as I hate Christmas.

I wonder would my boss notice the difference....

Well me and my fiancé will pick his daughters up xmas eve afternoon, and drop them back to their mum about lunch time xmas day. Then the two of us may go for an afternoon ride as long as there isn't snow on the ground! I'll probably cook us a Xmas dinner too!

Probs be doing the trailing round all the young nieces and nephews giving it ho ho ho and trying hard not to fall asleep at the in laws.

Taking about Christmas, a few years ago I was tidying the loft out and thought I had thrown out all the decorations for the tree,
And this is all I could find,

Not confirmed yet, but I suspect we'll go to my Mum's again, for a get together with my sister and her family, which we've done for the past few years. We play with the boys, and generally eat just a little bit too much, and natter a lot.

This year, I will mostly be giving people jam, having made jars and jars of the stuff!

I like Christmas. I like choosing presents and wrapping them (last year I themed them all in newspaper with string and cut out letter 'ransom note' gift tags), and the food and the traditions and the decorations on the tree that have been going on the tree since I was 6 months old. I even like the cheesy music in the shops,

I don't like the commercial pressure (this-years-must-have-thing, and the inevitable survey that says the average spend on presents is £1500, and the crowds)

Oh and the first couple of collections in the New Year tend to be a bit frantic!

Funny, I was going to post something, but thought it would be interpreted as gloating, seeing as I've mentioned it once or twice already.

But, to paint a picture, I'll be on as many of these as possible without exerting myself too much! :becool:
